Target Black Friday deals: $140 gift card for iPad Air 2, Galaxy S5 for $0.01, and more

Target is prepping up for the biggest shopping gala of the year and expectedly, special promotions and knockdown offers are all over the place. The titanic retailer does not only offer discounts, it also packs gift card rebates. On Thanksgiving Day, shoppers can rush to Target as early as 6 p.m. to grab all the following good buys available. 

This year, Target ventured into big gadget sales. Shoppers who have been thinking of getting all the rage devices for the lowest cost can either take a trip down the nearest Target outlet or check its website starting on Nov. 26 for pre-sale Black Friday bargains. Also, for more good deals to avail of, users of the shopping cart app Cartwheel will enjoy special discounts from Target, too. 

On Nov. 27, there will be loads of special doorbuster offers on smartphones, games, cameras and TVs, all for the love of tech. When buyers shop from Target, they also become entitled to Target gift cards. The craziest deal to fuss over involves a 16 GB Samsung Galaxy S5 coupled with a 2-year contract on AT&T, Sprint or Verizon. Buyers can't miss this offer, which amounts to no more than $0.01. 

Select Apple devices are on sale as well. Tech lovers can get the 16 GB version of the Apple iPhone 6 for $179.99. That's a $20 discount from the original $199 price. It is tied up with a $30 gift card and a 2-year contract with AT&T, Sprint or Verizon. Those who purchase the latest Apple tablet, the iPad Air 2 (16 GB Wi-Fi only), will get a huge $140 Target gift card. In addition, the original iPad Air comes with a $100 gift card when purchased for the original $399 value. The same gift card rate goes with the iPad Mini 2, which costs $299. Another Apple offering, the Apple TV, is on a $10 discount and is now $89. 

There are a couple of special offers for shooters, too. The Nikon D3200 24.2-megapixel Digital SLR Camera (18-55 mm and 55-200 mm lenses and bag) went down from $779.99 to $496.99. Target is also taking off $50 from the $299.99 original price of the GoPro Hero 3  and is even offering a $50 Target gift card with it, all for $249.99.

A PS4 500 GB usually costs $399.99, but when bought from Target, shoppers can acquire an additional copy of "Destiny" all for the same price. Gamers can also get their hands on a new Xbox One 500 GB, complete with one controller and digital downloads of the "Assassin's Creed Unity" and "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" on top of a $50 Target gift card for only $329. Lastly, shoppers can play "Yoshi's Island" on a Nintendo 2DS for only $99.99. That's a $30 discount as the bundle usually costs $129.99. 

Select TVs are going for a song, too. The 40-inch Element LED HDTV is now priced at $119, originally $349.99. Buyers can also get a $30 Target gift card to-go with a 50-inch Samsung LED HDTV for only $477.99, which originally costs $849.99. 

Shoppers can also save on accessories with Target. From $169, prices on Beats Solo headphones are lowered down to $97 and are only available online. The Fitbit Charge sleep and activity tracker affixes a $30 discount, making it a $99.99 shell out. Finally, Target slashes $10 from the $24.99 Google Chromecast.
