'Switched at Birth' season 5 spoilers: 100th episode's title revealed

"Switched at Birth" season 5 will first deal with the mysterious call that occurred during the season 4 finale, the call that prompted the girls to come from after spending 10 months abroad. The season will also contain the series' 100th episode and creator Lizzy Weiss has now revealed the episode's title.

Weiss released an image via Twitter that revealed that the 100th episode would be titled "Memory (The Heart)," which many fans have taken to be a sign that it will tackle the impending divorce between John (D.W. Moffett) and Kathryn (Lea Thompson).

"We made 100 episodes of this show," Weiss states in the post's caption. "I'm getting emotional already. So much has happened for all of us since we began."

According to a report from Ecumenical News, the premiere episode is titled "The Call" and this may be when the divorce will be announced. This divorce may be why the girls will be coming home but it won't be until "Memory (The Heart)" that the issue is directly tackled on the show.

Other fans speculate that this episode may be a flashback episode that will focus on all of the key highlights of the series thus far. This episode may have several montage sequences to commemorate the 100 episodes that have already passed while also looking forward to the episodes that have yet to come.

Between the premiere episode and the celebrated 100th episode are five regular episodes. Episode 2 is titled "This Has to Do With Me" while the episode that follows is "Surprise." Episode 4 is titled "Relation of Lines and Colors" while episodes 5 and 6 are titlted "Occupy Truth" and "Four Ages in Life," respectively.

Unfortunately, Weiss has yet to confirm if these rumors regarding the 100th episode are true and if the reason for the girls' return home is indeed regarding the divorce.

"Switched at Birth" season 5 has yet to be scheduled but it is expected to premiere by this summer.
