Justin Timberlake will be performing for the third time in the halftime stage of Super Bowl.
The Grammy award winning musician confirmed his performance for the Pepsi Super Bowl LII. Timberlake's third appearance on the show means that he has the most number of appearances as an entertainer.
Other entertainers that have been recurring in the sports event include Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Madonna, The Who, Bruce Springsteen and The Street Band, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Prince, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, and U2.
As one of the year's most watched musical event, the Super Bowl halftime show has always showcased artists at the pinnacle of their careers. Since Timberlake has been identified as an icon in the music industry, thanks to his boy band days with N'Sync. The artist is a respected figure in the music scene, which would one of the reasons why he was chosen to perform at the prestigious stage for the third time.
