Sunday Night Football live stream [NBC]: Watch online Cowboys vs Saints [TV start time, preview]

Sunday Night Football takes place today with the New Orleans Saints going on the road to play the Dallas Cowboys in what should be a fantastic match up in Week 4 of the NFL 2014 regular season.

Today's big game is scheduled to start at 8.30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the NBC network. The game can also be watched online through live stream – free for subscribers –via the link provided below.

Sunday Night Football will see a quarterback match up between Drew Brees and Tony Romo, which should see some fireworks.

Brees has completed 83 of 117 attempts for 863 yards and 5 touchdowns so far this season, and the Cowboys will have to get in his face and not allow him time on the ball or he could devastate the Dallas defense.

Tony Romo meanwhile has completed 60 of 89 throws for 674 yards and 4 touchdowns through the first three weeks of the season. Much of today's game will depend on how well he can connect with Dez Bryant, who has already received 20 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns this season.

DeMarco Murray will be a major player in today's game. So far he has been the main rush weapon for the Cowboys, carrying the ball 75 times for 385 yards, and three touchdowns.

The Cowboys will be reasonably happy with how the season has gone so far. They are 2-1, and if they can claim the win at home today then at 3-1 they will be in a healthy position with a good foundation to build from moving into the middle part of the season.

The Saints though, will be desperate not to slide back to 1-3, and if they can claim the win on the road today, 2-2 looks miles away from how they'd look at 1-3. They will see this has a pivotal game for their season.

Sunday Night Football will start at 8.30 p.m. EST and can be watched by clicking here.
