'Suits' season 5 spoilers: Christina Cole introduced; relationships further squeezed

Suits USA Network

"Suits" was renewed for a fifth season a good three months ago but already, the rumor mill for the future of the show is turning. According to a report from TV Line, actress Christina Cole is being brought on board as the newest cast member. She will play the role of Dr. Paula Agard who is set to go head-to-head against Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht.

According to the report, Dr. Agard is a Harvard-graduate psychiatrist. She specializes in "high-end corporate consulting" and is reported to be a perfect match against Harvey. It wasn't confirmed if she will be his personal therapist but the two are expected to play a sinister game of "cat and mouse" as they chase after each other's interests.

Dr. Agard isn't the only new factor that will shake things up for the characters in "Suits" season 5. In season 4, Donna left Harvey and the Pearson Specter Litt firm as she barely avoided jail time. She now works for Harvey's rival Louis and it is inevitable that this shaky choice will make things difficult for Harvey and Donna in season 5.

A report from the IBTimes also indicates that Mike and Rachel's wedding will become a big plot point for the fifth season. The showrunners have not yet given any details on when the wedding will take place but fans can expect it to be filled with a lot of side-plots as Mike and Harvey will be busy with another case amidst the celebration.

The report also says that the cast are just as excited for the show to return as much as the fans are. IBTimes showcases some of the set photos posted by actress Sarah Rafferty, who plays Donna, and Patrick J. Adams, who plays Mike.

Not all the photos focus solely on the crew behind the camera. Adams posted a photo of actress Meghan Markle, who portrays Rachel, as she was busy memorizing her lines.

"Suits" season 5 is scheduled to premiere on June 24.
