"Suicide Squad" is all about several supervillains such as Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and Deadshot (Will Smith) working for the government agency known as ARGUS. However, the main villain of the film has not yet been revealed and according to a report from Movie Pilot, the film's director may have given fans their first major clue.

According to the report, fans speculated that the Joker (Jared Leto) may be the main antagonist but trailers indicate that he is merely a wild card character that will make few cameo appearances to cause trouble but is not the main antagonist. Instead, the report points out that Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) may be main villain of the film.

Movie Pilot states that director David Ayer confirmed that the Suicide Squad aka Task Force X will encounter several supernatural beasts wearning military uniforms. The report then points out that the trailer for "Suicide Squad" showcases how Enchantress has supernatural abilities and is seen taking over the White House.

With Enchantress in the White House it is speculated that her supernatural soldiers may be disguised as government workers, politicians or agents.

It is further speculated that Enchantress, who is shown getting her powers while spelunking and conducting a ritual in a pool of water, may have taken control of the government. Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) may have asked the Suicide Squad to take her down, freeing the government from the Enchantress' hold over them.

Cinema Blend reports that early screenings of the movie also indicate that Enchantress is the main villain given that the Joker only has about 20 minutes of screen time. The report also reveals that other rumors suggest the Tattooed Man (Common) is the main villain or even Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) who was imprisoned at the end of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

"Suicide Squad" opens in theaters this Aug. 5.
