Cartoon Network's popular animated series is getting a video game. Titled "Steven Universe: Save the Light," the upcoming role-playing game will feature an assortment of new Gems, one of whom has been confirmed to be Hessonite.

Created by "Steven Universe" showrunner Rebecca Sugar, Hessonite is an orange sword-toting Homeworld Gem. She will be making her debut as the villain in this brand-new game, and according to the L.A. Times, the villainous Gem is a commander from Homeworld who's come to earth in search of a deadly weapon.

Cartoon Network also uploaded a video of Hessonite on their YouTube Channel. The preview shows Hessonite crashing her spacecraft into Steven's carwash, damaging the building in the process. After that, she emerges from her ship and talks about her newly activated weapon. She takes it from Steven and friends and the video comes to an end, hinting at the challenges players will have to face in-game.

The official "Steven Universe: Save the Light" trailer was uploaded in July. The trailer featured the game's voice acting, character art and RPG-styled combat system. Similar to RPG games, players will be able to form parties with allies, each with their own fighting style and skills, and engage in combat against the enemy together.

Since the trailer's release, a 20-minute gameplay video has also been uploaded to GameSpot's YouTube Channel. It gives players a closer glimpse of Beach City, the puzzles players will encounter in-game, and the first boss fight against a robot named Dave.

Another one of the brand-new characters coming to the video game is a Gem named Squaridot – a square version of the cartoon character Peridot.

Players will be able to meet the rest of the Gems once "Steven Universe: Save the Light" becomes available on Oct. 31 for the PlayStation 4 and Nov. 3 for the Xbox One.
