The inevitable fight between Ahsoka Tano and her former master Darth Vader, formerly Anakin Skywalker, has now been teased in the latest trailer for the finale episode of "Star Wars Rebels" season 2.

Ever since "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" was cancelled, the fate of Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker's padawan who left the Jedi Temple after being wrongly accused for a crime, had been left unknown. It was only in "Star Wars Rebels" that Ahsoka's fate was revealed, showing that she had survived and had become a leader of the Rebel army.

The official teaser trailer reveals that Ahsoka and Anakin Skywalker may have met after she left the Jedi Temple, despite this story bit not being shown in the "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" series due to its sudden cancellation.  If this proves true then it is possible that Ahsoka may already be aware of her master's fall to the Dark Side.

Darth Vader -- once again voiced by James Earl Jones -- has only one line in the trailer but his words carry heavy meaning. As pointed out in a report from Screen Rant, Vader's line refers to a long-awaited meeting between the two, and with no remaining Jedi alive by the time of the original trilogy of films, it is likely this meeting will end with Ahsoka's death.

Screen Rant also points out that this finale will conclude the story left open by "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" regarding Anakin and Ahsoka's relationship.

Many fans, however, point out that Ahsoka may live. As showcased in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," not everyone that is Force-sensitive and wielding a lightsaber is referred to as a Jedi. This would allow Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) to still be referred to as the last existing Jedi despite there being force-sensitive fighters like Ahsoka.

The "Star Wars Rebels" season 2 finale will air this March 30.
