"Star Wars Episode VII" is a film much anticipated by die-hard "Star Wars" fans. However, many reportedly found fault with the upcoming film's official title – "The Force Awakens." According to some, the Force never went to sleep. However, some argued that the title refers not to the ethereal Force that permeates the "Star Wars" world but to the awakening of Luke Skywalker, the main protagonist of the series who had gone silent for 30 years.

As the film's screening draws closer, fans have already come across spoiler details on how the film will play out, as the supposed plot was already revealed by some enterprising reports.

According to BirthMoviesDeath, the narrative starts with the discovery of a severed hand holding a lightsaber. The Jedi relic discovery is made by two characters, Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega). Thanks to their good judgment, they decide to return it to the right people.

Rey and Finn embark on a journey that lets them connect with Han Solo and Chewbacca. After seeing the lightsaber, both "Star Wars" old timers conclude that the "relic" is owned by the Master Jedi Luke Skywalker. It has been 30 years since both have seen their friend.

Reportedly, the new installment in the "Star Wars" saga is a quest to find the missing Jedi. But while the search for Luke ensues, another much grimmer story unfolds – in a far-away ice planet, dark forces are building a powerful weapon that will not only destroy planets but can also annihilate entire solar systems.

Another rumor worth mentioning is that Emperor Palpatine will be back for the new movie. He will be again at the helm of the Galactic Empire as revealed by Latino Review. "Episode VII" will see the Emperor getting back his throne and he is expected to orchestrate a credible antagonist force for the next trilogy.

These are all unconfirmed, however, and fans will find out the real story when "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is shown in theaters starting Dec. 18.
