Sony Xperia Z4 specs rumors: New realistic concept image packs top of the line specs and features

With the imminent release of the Sony Xperia Z4, it is not surprising that concept images of the device will emerge online. This week, a new render surfaced packing top of the line specs and features. As a matter of fact, many think that the concept image is close to reality and they are hoping  that Sony will come up with a product with similar specs.

The latest render was created by designer Ashraf Amer who imagined that the Sony Xperia Z4 would include some of the rumored specs and features that have been going around for sometime. The listed specs include a 5.4-inch IPS LCD display protected by shatterproof glass, with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and Triluminous technology.

Inside the conceived smartphone is the new octa-core Snapdragon 810 64 bit processor with 4 GB of RAM. It is envisioned to run the latest version of the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. For the camera, the designer incorporated a 24-megapixel back camera with dual LED flash and a 12-megapixel front facing shooter. This imagined Sony Xperia Z4 also includes NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4500 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0.

The form factor of the device is slimmer than the the real-life Xperia Z3 as well as other concept images. The rendered smartphone is only 5 mm thick, which will make the Z4 the thinnest smartphone in the market should Sony have the same idea in mind.

Sony released a video teaser last month that made fans excited as they thought that the company was hinting on the forthcoming release of Sony Xperia Z4 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. However, after Sony left out the Xperia Z4 at its press conference at the recently concluded event, waiting fans are now expecting the handset to finally make an appearance at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in March. Meanwhile, Sony has not yet revealed any official release date or specifications.
