Selena Gomez sets the record straight about her relationship with Zedd.

During an interview with New Zealand's radio show "The Edge Afternoons," the 22-year old singer-actress confirmed that she dated the EDM DJ earlier this year. She decided to talk about the relationship for the first time when she was asked about Diplo's claim that their relationship was just a publicity stunt.

"He said that was a joke! He said it was a joke 'cause I just talked to him," said Gomez. "First off, it's very interesting that Diplo would think he knew about my personal life, but he doesn't."

She finally answered everyone's burning question as she revealed that she dated the 25-year old DJ, saying, "I adore Anton [Zedd] a lot and I definitely had a thing with him, which was nice."

The "Good for You" singer's relationship with Zedd came after her breakup with on-off boyfriend, Justin Bieber. They first sparked dating rumors early this year when they were seen holding hands at the 2015 Golden Globes on Jan. 11. At the time, the pair would often post pictures of each other on their respective Instagram accounts, and at one point, Gomez even referred to Zedd as "the Harry to my Sally." The two collaborated on the hit dance track, "I Want You to Know."

In April, it was reported that they have broken up, but prior to that, the two never came clean about the nature of their relationship.

In the same interview, Gomez was asked if it was true that she called Katy Perry after Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" video came out to make sure that the "Roar" singer knew that she was acting and not being "mean" to her. Swift's song is reportedly about her feud with Perry, and the video stars Gomez as Swift's ally-turned-traitor, and many believe that the former Disney star was playing the "Teenage Dream" singer.

"That's false, I love Katy. I just talked to her," said Gomez. "She's amazing. But I didn't talk about that, but I just talked to her. She's awesome."
