As a product of the collaboration between Samsung and Barnes & Noble, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook has now been made available with a larger screen size, from being a 7-inch tablet to a device with a 10.1-inch screen display.

For $300, the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook's large screen size has been found to bring on benefits for users who rely on the device for increased productivity. Tasks such as working on documents and spreadsheets are reportedly easier to carry out in the 10.1-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook.

However, the tablet comes with a low resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels which can affect the quality of images and the amount of content that users can view on its screen all at once.

Nonetheless, Samsung and Barnes & Noble have announced that users of the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook can have access to over $200 worth of Nook content, free of charge.

Such content worth $200 has also been made available for free among new customers of the 7-inch variant of the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook, which is currently being sold for $170.

Aside from getting their hands on bestselling e-books, users can also obtain one episode each of hit TV shows and a couple of 14-day free trial subscriptions from 15 publications.

With the tablet being released for $300, it has been found to be a favorable bargain for users who are sticking to their budget. Despite the presence of other large tablets with faster performance and dynamic displays, reviews for the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook have recognized the device as a reliable tablet especially for users seeking productivity.

Customers can now purchase the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 4 Nook with 16 GB of storage and 1.5 GB of RAM at Barnes & Noble bookstores as well as through the Samsung's and Barnes & Noble's official sites.

The two companies formally announced their partnership last June through which the public has learned that, through this collaboration, Samsung takes care of the hardware while Barnes & Noble provides the Nook software.
