Another indication that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S6 sometime soon is the reports claiming that the handset has entered production. Korean media sources say that the trial production for the device has begun in Samsung's Vietnamese plant.

Some reports also added that the mass production will begin next month and claimed that the smartphone will hit its home court market in Korea as early as February. The global release of the device is scheduled for March, most likely a day ahead the Mobile World Congress.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is reported to be released alongside a new Galaxy Gear. Reports say that the smartwatch will sport a round screen that could be similar to Moto 360. The smartwatch is rumored to run with Tizen OS, which is highly unlikely thinking that Samsung may want to sync the new smartphone to the wearable device.

Aside from the smartwatch, the Galaxy S6 was reported to be launched with the Galaxy S6 Edge, which is a variant with curved edge.

According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will share similar specs and features. The two smartphones are rumored to include a 5.5-inch Full HD screen display, although other reports surmise that the Galaxy S6 will retain its 5-inch screen panel but will sport a quad HD resolution.

Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset or octa-core Exynos 7 SoC with 64-bit architecture paired with 4 GB of RAM. The Galaxy S6 will run with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, but topped with a new TouchWiz UI. It is expected to have 32 GB and 64 GB storage variants with microSD slot for additional storage. The handset, according to predictions, will sport a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 3.1-megapixel front-facing camera and longer battery life.

However, Samsung has not released any official information as of now.
