Samsung Galaxy S3 and its miniature version received a large price cut amidst the rumors of the imminent release of Samsung Galaxy F.

Amazon offers Samsung Galaxy S3 and S3 Mini for a much lower price. The retailer is selling the international version of the 2012 Samsung smartphone powered by a quad-core Exynos processor and 1 GB RAM for $319.99 compared to its original price of $799.99. Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, on the other hand, which has a similar design to its big brother but with lower-end specs, now costs $194.14 instead of the usual $429.99.

There has been a lot of fuss around Samsung Galaxy F dubbed Galaxy S5 Prime. After months of silence, new rumors on the alleged Galaxy F became louder. Reliable tipster @evleaks posted a few purported photos of the device as well as leaked specifications for the upcoming smartphone. The Galaxy F was seen on the FCC's listings, with a device under model numbers SM-G906S, SM-G906K and SM-G906L having recently been certified for NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Meanwhile, the premium smartphone Samsung Galaxy F release date may come soon. There were reports that the device will be released alongside the manufacturer's phablet – Samsung Galaxy Note 4. If rumors proved to be true, the devices will most likely to make an appearance at the IFA tech event in Berlin in September.

Rumors claimed that Samsung Galaxy F will pack a metal casing and will come in two tones – black and silver. The handset will pack a more powerful Snapdragon 805 processor. Other rumored features of the handset include a 5.3 inch 1440 x 2560 QHD screen display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. At the back, the handset will boast a 16MP camera with OIS. Just like its brother, the Samsung Galaxy F will be IP 67 certified, which means it is waterproof.
