Galaxy Note 4 release date on Sept. 15, says report

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will reportedly release on Sept. 15, according to a report.

Android Authority got hold of an alleged internal memo meant for Samsung employees from an unnamed source that contained the plans for the imminent release of the new Samsung phablet. According to the memo, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be launched on Sept. 3 and will hit the retail stores on Sept. 15. Thus, it prohibited Samsung employees from filing vacation leaves from September 3 to September 5 for the Unpacked event as well as between September 15 and September 28, when the phablet will be available for purchase in various markets.

In the past, Samsung provided a huge gap from the day of the product launch before the device hit the shelves at various retail stores. However, it seems that the company is in a hurry to sell its products after reports of declining sales. If this rumor proves to be true, the Galaxy Note 4 will arrive in less than two weeks after its announcement.

On the other hand, the memo has not confirmed whether the phablet will be released alongside other devices from Samsung. Previous rumors stated that the Galaxy Note 4 will be announced with another Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Alpha.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is also rumored to pack a quadHD screen display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, 64-bit processor, Android 4.4.3 Kitkat operating system, 3GB RAM, and 3 megapixel front-facing camera. The handset was reported to be available in two variants with different processors - the international variant will come with Exynos chipset and the unit released in the US will pack the Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor.

Furthermore, the Korean media reported that instead of ISOCELL technology, the phablet will sport 12MP with Optical Image Stabilization paired with 3.7MP front-facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was also rumored to bring forth a UV Sensor and Retina Scanner although Samsung has not confirmed any of these rumors.
