Galaxy Note 4 specs and features: 20nm octa core Exynos 5?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is set to include the upcoming 20 nanometer octa core Exynos 5 processor.

Reports said that Samsung is prepping up for the 20nm Exynos 5 Octa chip that will be seen in the upcoming Galaxy Note 4.

According to the reports, the new chipset will increase the performance of the device while keeping the power consumption at bay. The processor is also small and will not take up so much space in the handset.

The new processor will reduce the power consumption by 25% compared to the company's 28 nm processor. Moreover, Samsung gives its Mali-T628MP6 GPU a slight speed boost of 12.5%. The small size of the chipset will also yield to a slimmer smartphone. The new power chip will focus more on the optimized performance and reduced power consumption. Furthermore, it is expected that the smartphone will be thinner compared to its predecessor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to pack quadHD screen display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, 64-bit processor, Android 4.4.3 Kitkat operating system, 3GB RAM, 3 megapixel front-facing camera. The phablet is purported to come in two variants: the international variant will come with Exynos chipset and the unit released in the US will pack the Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a full metal smartphone. Just like the iPhone, it will comes with a semi-metal body, and a metallic rim on the edges. It is equipped with Samsung's octa-core Exynos 5 chip, 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. It also comes with a 12MP rear-facing camera, a built-in fingerprint sensor, heart rate scanner and a 1,850mAh battery.

The Galaxy Note 4 is set to enter mass production this month to meet the time for release.
