'Rookie Blue' season 6 spoilers: Nick has secrets of his own in new episodes

Rookie Blue season 6 ABC

A lot is going on between Nick (Peter Mooney) and his new girlfriend Juliet (Erin Karpluk) but one thing they both have in common is they are keeping secrets from each other. According to a report from Enstarz, fans already know that Juliet is keeping something hidden from Nick but the latest promo clip indicates Nick has his own secrets, too.

In the clip, Nick and Juliet are working together on a case and are shown to be at a building where they believe a suspect or witness involved in the crime is hiding. Nick doesn't go inside, however, and advises Juliet to go first and have a conversation with the man.

Nick describes the man to Juliet and then advises her to tell him "his lights are off" in order to lure him outside where Nick will be waiting. As soon as Juliet goes inside the building, Nick takes out a sharp weapon, walks to a nearby pickup truck, and starts puncturing holes into the tires.

Juliet comes out sooner than expected but Nick is able to get the job done before she sees what he is up to. She tells him the man wasn't inside and that Nick could check but the latter says he'll take her word for it.

The conflict broiling between the two new lovers could cause some rift within the police department but the bigger question is what Nick is hiding from Juliet and the rest of the team.

Season 6 should answer all these questions because according to a report from the Master Herald, the series might not see a renewal for season 7. According to the report, Shaw Media senior vice president Criston Shipton stated that they were doing everything possible to keep the show going but, up to this point, there has been no indication of renewal.

"Rookie Blue" season 6 premieres in the United States this June 25.
