'Revenge' season 4 spoilers: Emily Thorne could die, according to new trailer before premiere date

A new trailer for the season 4 of "Revenge" hints that Victoria will get Emily Thorne and she will allegedly die.

The video is a cliffhanger itself and leaves the fans with a bunch of questions. The biggest question hovering over the heads of viewers is whether the show's protagonist will exit the show. The two-minute sneak peek shows Victoria, Emily, Nolan, Daniel, and Jack bearing strange and worried looks.

Near the end of the video, the phrase "What goes around, comes around" flashes on the screen, and Emily is seen splayed on the ground unconscious. At the back, a fire suggests that the scene will happen in her beach house.

Of course, Emily's nemesis Victoria will be on her trail. Fans saw that Victoria was locked up in a solitary confinement in a mental health facility. Previously, many thought that it was the end of it all and Emily had won her years of battle against the Graysons. However, it seems that she will emancipate herself from the mental institution and turn it to her advantage.

Meanwhile, Emily's father David Clarke is back in town.  The minute the he was back, he killed Conrad and left him on the ground. He may have come back to go after Victoria, Daniel or Charlotte. There were talks that there will be a father-daughter tandem next season. Emily has new reasons for revenge after Victoria poisoned her fiancé Aiden.

According to the official synopsis of next season, Emily will arrive at Hamptons and will be a "girl next door." Emily has planned revenge her whole life after she came to believe that her father was murdered by the people that he trusted the most. However, David Clarke mysteriously appears out of nowhere which makes all of Emily's revenge tactics seem pointless.

"Revenge" season 4 is set to air on Sept. 28 on ABC.
