The main cast of ABC's Pretty Little Liars were stirred with speculations on last night's episode that Alison (Ali) could have been "A" all along.

The four main characters: Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily, are trying to figure out what Ali is up to.

In this week's episode, the four girls were trying to come up with an explanation for Ali's situation. They finally deduced that  Ali could in fact be "A." The events added to their suspicions.

Moreover, Ali was absent in the episode causing more suspicions of her identity. Hanna suddenly brought up that maybe Ali has been "A" all along. In addition to that, the girls have to deal with the shocking revelation of who really killed Bethany Young.

In next week's episode of PLL season 5 titled "Taking This One To The Grave", the mid-season finale of the series, someone will die and exit the show. Death is nothing new to PLL.

Mona was heard saying that Alison is cooking up something big. This was fueled when Paige claimed that Alison is building her own army. Emily was freaked out by Ali's presence and the latter noticed it. Spencer said that she was an accessory to the murder of Melissa's story, while Hanna was accused of lying.

On the other hand, E! Online reported that a new character will join the PLL cast this season. Will Bradley will play the role of painter Johnny Raymond.

Season 5 spoilers claimed Johnny Raymond's character is described as "cute, edgy, and charismatic". Johnny will first appear on the 15th episode of season 5. Spoilers added that his character will interact mostly with Spencer. It was thought Toby and Spencer would eventually develop a romantic relationship. However, there is no word yet and, as is the drama's custom, a lot of twists may happen.

The mid-season finale or episode 12 will air at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 on ABC Family.
