'Pokemon Sun and Moon' news: Zygarde will undergo major changes

Multiple forms of Zygarde The Pokemon Company

Zygarde, one of the legendary Pokemon, will be able to change through its multiple forms in the upcoming "Pokemon Sun and Moon." As reported by Cinema Blend, footage of Zygarde changing from its 10 percent form is shown in a leaked video taken from the Pokemon 2016 Taiwan National Championships.

The footage shows Zygarde in its lower transformation getting hit by an attack. However, instead of going down, Zygarde transforms into its Complete Forme. According to a report from Gematsu, Zygarde achieves its ultimate status when it reaches its Complete Forme, gaining the most powerful Dragon/Ground abilities in the game.

A separate English trailer has also been released since the footage was leaked. This new trailer showcases the same general concept, of a Zygarde in 10 percent tranforming into its Complete Forme, but this time it also shows some of the Pokemon's main attacks.

In its 10 percent form Zygarde uses Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves. When in its Complete Forme Zygarde uses the move called Core Enforcer. This move lets Zygarde fly into the air and then fire a powerful beam onto the enemy, forming a Z shape on the ground in the process.

As noted in the report from Cinema Blend, the type of damage and how much damage these attacks can deal are not shown in the trailer. Very little information about the game has been shared since it was unveiled but it is expected that Nintendo will release more videos as the game nears its November release date.

The different forms of Zygarde were leaked last year and since then it has been rumored that The Pokemon Company and Nintendo may be working on "Pokemon Z." This was debunked in February when the companies unveiled "Pokemon Sun and Moon," a brand new entry in the series that is set in the islands of Alola.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be released for the Nintendo 3DS this Nov. 18.
