Ahead of the November release of "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire," Nintendo offered exclusive demos that could be obtained through club memberships and game purchases. Now, the demos have been made available for the general public to download.
For those who are not familiar with the demo, it includes exclusive scenarios and new mega evolutions that players can get and transfer to the official game. Players who purchased the game can import mega-evolving Pokémon Glalie and some items earned in the demo. Gamers who already tried the demo version should not be worried since it is the same demo.
Aside from the demo version, a wider selection of "Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire" soundtrack is now available for purchase in iTunes for only $9.99. Hardcore Pokémon fans can now download the "Pokémon Omega Ruby & Pokémon Alpha Sapphire: Super Music Collection" that includes 160 songs found in each game.
The "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" games are remakes of the old "Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire" for Game Boy Advance, released in 2002. The refreshed versions come with several additions and differences. Some of the new features of the game are new gameplay, new Pokémon, items and weapons. Moreover, the graphics of the game are greatly improved.
Some of the new Pokémon are Shaymin, Keldeo and Victini. One of the distinctive features of "Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" is the mega evolutions of some of the Pokémon. Moreover, there are new items that are available to players such as Pokémon Tretta Tretta Power Strength Set, the Treat Speed Strength Set, the Pokémon Vegetable Snack Salad and the Pokémon Sprinkles Mini Pack. However, these items can only be obtained through special codes.
"Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" were released for Nintendo 3DS in North America and Japan on Nov. 21 and it arrived in Europe on Nov. 28. The game can be bought separately for $39.99 or in a Dual Pack set for $79.98 in Best Buy and Amazon.
