"Pokémon GO" has made quite a mark last year when it was first launched to the public and certainly everyone was on board with the idea. The concept of Pokémon GO instantly became a worldwide trend. Wanting to further capitalize on the game's success and promote player engagements, the creators of Pokémon GO, Niantic, thought it would be a great idea to hold at least one event per month.

Out of all the Pokémon GO events though, "Adventure Week" seems to be the biggest one yet. It is simply a rock-type event that increases the spawn rate of rock-type Pokémon and not only is it the biggest, it is also a rather long event as it runs from May 18 to 25.

Avid Pokémon GO players better not miss any of the latest happenings for Pokémon GO's Adventure Week because all of the game's 65 million active players would be able to collect Pokémon and other items easier during this event. How easy? Well, usually players have to walk four kilometers with their Buddy Pokémon before they can find candy but during the Adventure Week event, players only need to walk one kilometer distance. This means players can collect as much as four candies if they make the four-kilometer walk.

Each Pokéstop also has more items in store for the players. Instead of the three standard items, a player may get as much as five or six. Not only that, there is also a higher chance for players to find more Pokémon and if one is really lucky, one may even stumble upon rare types like Aerodactyl, Sudowoodo, and Onix.

According to Niantic, this event is a tribute to the memories each of the players has made since the game's launch back in July 2016.
