Platforming adventure game "Ori and the Blind Forest" is returning with a sequel titled "Ori and the Will of the Wisps." No release date has been given as of yet, but the first trailer is already available for fans both new and old to see, and as expected, the sequel is just as beautiful as the first game.
The sequel was revealed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017, and the trailer was uploaded to Xbox's YouTube channel on Jun. 11, 2017. Reportedly, the game will be an Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive.
A little over two minutes, the trailer is completely devoid of narration. Instead, it piques the curiosity of the viewer by telling its shorty and presenting its hook through a combination of vivid images and amazing sound design. The trailer presents the game's outstanding art-direction, alongside its intricate level-design and unique character concepts. From the beginning of the trailer, people can already tell that "Ori and the Will of the Wisps" like its predecessor, is going to be a visually stunning game with plenty of strange and surreal landscapes to explore and tons of interesting creatures to meet.
According to Xbox's description of the game, "Ori and the Will of the Wisps" will be "an adventure to discover the mysteries beyond the forest of Nibel, uncover the hidden truths of those lost, and unravel Ori's true destiny." Fans haven't seen the last of the lovable Ori, and will once again be aiding him on his adventure through the forest. It's a new adventure to embark on, filled with new content to experience.
Not much else has been released about the upcoming "Ori and the Will of the Wisps"
Those planning to play the second game should grab a copy of the first one before they do. Set in the Nibel forest, "Ori and the Blind Forest" tells the tale of Orphan Ori and his heroic destiny.
