'One Punch Man' spoilers: Meteor threatens City Z in episode 7

"One Punch Man" episode 6 saw the protagonist Saitama rise up the ranks of Class C heroes after defeating Speed of Sound Sonic while still being particularly lazy as a hero, except when in front of his disciple Genos. According to a report from Youth Health Mag, episode 7 will finally put the spotlight on Genos this time around.

Episode 7, titled "The Supreme Disciple," will focus on Genos attempting to stop a massive meteor falling towards City Z. This is based on the events that occured in the original manga series, which means there is the possibility that episode might push this plot point aside to give room for filler material.

However, the title does suggest that Genos will get his moment to shine. According to the report, all of the heroes of City Z have left while Bang, an old Class S rank 3 hero, states that stopping the meteor is going to be impossible. Genos will disregard this and attempt to test his prototype robotic arms that are large enough to potentially destroy the meteor.

At the same time, however, there will arrive a new robot that is controlled by Bofoy aka the Metal Knight, a Class S rank 7 hero. However, in the source material Metal Knight explains he isn't all that concerned about saving City Z and simply wants to use the meteor to test the power of his new remote controlled robot.

Most of the episode will be about Genos attempting to best Metal Knight and his robot while also saving City Z from the meteor, with the main character Saitama sitting in the background, but a report from Yibada points out that the Blizzard Bunch may be appearing in the episode.

According to the report, the Blizzard Bunch makes an appearance in the episode 7 preview trailer but at the very tail-end of the promo, a voice over tells them they are not yet scheduled for the show, hinting that they will only appear in a cameo at the very end of the episode.

"One Punch Man" episode 7 is scheduled to air this Nov. 16.
