'One Piece' chapter 826 spoilers: Big Mom's husband to fall hostage to Germa 66?

"One Piece" chapter 826 is set to be released before the end of this week, following a short hiatus. According to a report from Hall of Fame magazine, it is possible that this will be the chapter where readers will get to meet Charlotte Linlin aka Big Mom's husband for the first time.

According to the report, the theory first popped up in a fan post on Manga Helpers. Fans speculated that because Big Mom is seemingly inspired by the Red Queen in Lewis Caroll's "Alice in Wonderland" it is likely that she will have a husband who is silent and usually in the background.

This is because the King, husband to the Red Queen in "Alice in Wonderland," is often very silent. When the Red Queen orders soldiers to execute someone, the King would secretly pardon the prisoner and let them go. It is likely this may also be the case with Big Mom and her husband.

Chapter 825 also gave a hint regarding Big Mom's husband. As stated in the report, one of Big Mom's daughter, who is described to look very similar to Lola, scolding Gotti. While getting mad at Gotti she stated "If you so much as put a scratch on him, they'll ice father in the blink of an eye!"

With her mentioning of a father fans have pointed out that this can only refer to Big Mom's yet-unseen husband. Her statement also suggests that Germa 66, also known as the Warmongers, may be keeping Big Mom's husband a hostage and this may be the precedent for the current cease-fire and alliance between Big Mom Pirates and Germa 66.

It is likely that things will be shaken up when the Straw Hat Pirates arrive given that one of the prominent crew members is "Black Leg" Sanji, whose family runs Germa 66. His involvement has yet to be seen, likely in chapters that will follow chapter 826.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
