Google will reportedly launch the Nexus 5X, also known as the Nexus 2015, this Sept. 29 at Google's event in San Francisco. According to a report from CNET, the company will unveil two devices, one of which is the Nexus 5X developed by LG and the other being the larger version of the device developed by Huawei. The phones are expected to have the new Android OS, Android 6.0 codenamed Marshmallow, out of the box.

AndroidPIT has released an image of the alleged final build for the upcoming smartphone. The leaked photo showcases the device sporting a circular finger scanner below its camera with raised lens. The phone is said to sport a 5.2-inch full HD 1080p P-OLED display.

The image also shows that the phone has a laser auto-focus module as well as a dual-LED flash that not many of the Nexus 5X's competitors support. The rear camera is reportedly 12.3 MP while the front camera has 5 MP photo-taking capacities.

LG's Nexus 5X reportedly houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 3 GB of RAM, with 16 GB and 32 GB storage options. The Nexus 5X is also said to be one of the new batch of smartphones to support USB Type-C, and its battery is at 2700 mAh.

While Google has not posted any official price tag or even confirmed that the Nexus 5X will be unveiled at the event, CNET reports that the LG device will cost an estimated $400. No reports for the Huawei version have yet been released at the time of writing.

As stated in the report from AndroidPIT, Nexus devices have been considered by fans as the purest Android devices as they do not feature additional tinkering or front-end adaptation such as those seen by the Samsung Galaxy devices or others.
