The iPhone 7 release date may be almost a year away, but rumors pertaining to the new device are already emerging online.

Latest rumors claimed that the successor of the iPhone 6 will ditch both the bezels and the home button. Ditching the bezels and home button will increase the size of the screen display without the need to enlarge the overall size of the handset.

Flickr user Jan-Willem Reusink released an iPhone 7 concept image that shows what the handset with edge-to-edge screen display and no home button would look like. Surprisingly, the handset resembles the Sharp Aquos Crystal smartphone.

This is not the first time that these rumors have emerged as they are basically the same as the ones that circulated about the iPhone 6 prior to its release.

Meanwhile, other rumored features of the iPhones 7 are a solar power feature that will aid in the power capacity of the device. The device is also said to pack a waterproof feature that has already been included in other smartphones.

Moreover, the iPhone 7 is rumored to have gesture controls that will allow users to use the device without physically touching it. This particular feature was first seen in some Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Lastly, the iPhone 7 is purported to sport a sapphire screen display that is sturdier since the current iPhone smartphones are under fire due to their brittle screens.

It is highly speculated that the iPhone 7 release date will fall in September 2015 based on the past releases of Apple's smartphones. It seems that the iPhone makes the most impact when released in this launch window.

Apple has not commented on the rumors surrounding the iPhone 7 as the company is most likely concentrating on delivering the new smartphones iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to their respective owners.
