'New Girl' season 5 episode 6: Megan Fox arrives

 Fox

Actress Megan Fox will finally make her debut on "New Girl" season 5. Episode 6, titled "Reagan," will be introducing the character as a pharmaceutical sales representative renting Jess's (Zooey Deschanel) old room now that the latter is currently busy with jury duty.

Fox's appearance on the show was announced as far back as last September. She was announced to step in while Deschanel took off for a few weeks on maternity leave. Deschanel managed to shoot several episodes before taking leave, which is why Fox only makes her debut in the sixth episode.

The official trailer for the episode now sheds some new light on Fox's character and her previous relationships with the main cast. As showcased in the short clip, Fox's Reagan spent some time at the MTV Beach House along with Cece (Hannah Simone) where the two girls got intimate with each other for a time, to the boys' surprise.

When the boys hear about this they all appear stunned and turned on by the lesbian notion. Cece informs Reagan that the boys are "still processing" the thought of two girls hooking up.

It is undetermined at this point how many episodes Reagan will be appearing in on the show and it is undetermined as well if she will be in a few episodes alongside Jess once the latter is back from jury duty. Now that Reagan is on the show, however, it is likely that this question will be answered by the showrunners very soon.

According to Movie Web, Fox's appearance on the show also marks the 100th episode of "New Girl," a landmark for any television series. Following Fox's appearance, other guest stars such as "Star Trek" actor John Cho, Peter Gallagher, Rob Riggle, Taran Killam, and Sam Richardson will be appearing later on in season 5.

"New Girl" season 5 episode 6 airs this Feb. 9.
