As previously reported, a few new locker codes for "NBA 2K16" were recently given online to allow players to unlock special, fully powered characters such as Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neil. Developer 2K Sports has followed this up by releasing Update V2, which addresses several bugs and glitches.
The update is currently only available on the PS4 in the U.S. and Europe. According to the update notes posted on the official NBA 2K Facebook page, the update is still waiting for approval from Microsoft and that it will release for the Xbox One in the coming week.
Update v2 fixes general issues in the game and glitches and bugs in the MyCareer/MyCourt, MyGM/MyLeague and MyPark/2K Pro-Am modes.
Some of these general fixes include one for a glitch that would cause the game to hang when entering or exiting the tattoo editor for MyPlayer, one for enhancing the players' sweat so that it would become more visible while a player goes through longer quarters, and one for a glitch where some players' hair would change style when zooming in close during replay.
MyPark/2K Pro-Am fixes include a glitch where some players appear with the wrong height and issues that caused problems in playing Pro-Am Walk-On games. Pro-Am Team Play has been added and the modes now have improved voice chat features and improved skateboard animations.
Update v2 addresses a glitch for MyCareer/MyCourt that prevented players from joining their friends' MyCourt. There was also a glitch that prevented a host from sending MyCourt invites after quitting MyPARK/Pro-Am with a squad. MyCareer now properly unlocks Accolades.
MyLeague Online no longer allows players to play the play-off games within a series out of order. Fans in the crowd will now hold the appropriate sign board even after a player has been relocated to a new brand/team instead of showing their old team on the sign.
The update note also confirms that Update v2 will work on all existing game mode saves.
