Club Nintendo, the official rewards system Nintendo offered for players who consistenly purchased Nintendo products such as consoles and games, ended last year, but the official Nintendo website has confirmed that registration for the replacement system, My Nintendo, is now available to select areas outside Japan.

According to the official post, players in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, and the United States can all register their My Nintendo accounts as of Friday.

Players will also be able to connect their My Nintendo account to their Facebook, Google Plus, Nintendo Network ID and Twitter accounts. This will make registration and sign-in much faster than the traditional method of signing in by completing a form.

Not only is My Nintendo starting to launch for areas outside Japan but the company has confirmed that players can now begin pre-registration for Nintendo's very first mobile game, "Miitomo." Players who create their My Nintendo account prior to completing the pre-registration for "Miitomo" will also receive Platinum Points for their My Nintendo account.

The Platinum Points effectively serve as reward points for My Nintendo. By collecting enough Platinum Points, players will be able to download games for free or use the points for other free bonuses such as themes for the console or handheld devices and others.

"Miitomo" and My Nintendo will both go live this coming March, with "Miitomo" launching simultaneously for iOS and Android devices.

"Miitomo" effectively takes the Mii avatar first introduced in the Nintendo Wii and turns it into a social media-type of video game that allows players to interact with each other through their mobile phones, effectively making "Miitomo" a social interactive video game that can be played on the go.

The My Nintendo service will also be effective not only for the Nintendi Wii U and New 3DS but it is also expected to carry over to the upcoming Nintendo NX.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
