"Mortal Kombat X" has gained massive success with the launch of its first DLC which added Jason Voorhees from the "Friday the 13th" films. According to a report from Game Rant, additional DLC packs are on the way and the first one up is the "Klassic" DLC which will add Edenian warrior Tanya as well as classic costumes for some of the characters.

Imgur user AndyZ88 leaked several photos of the "Klassic" pack which lets gamers have a good look at the costumes and Tanya's moveset and Fatalities. The costumes for Sonya, Liu Kang, Reptile and Kano are all reminiscent of their designs from the first "Mortal Kombat" game released in arcades back in 1992.

Kung Lao gets a new costume which blends his classic look with a more Western design. Both Johnny Cage and Liu Kang get soccer-themed costumes as well, with both of them sporting the soccer colors of Brazil (green and yellow).

Following the "Klassic" DLC pack is the "Predator" pack which will add the titular Predator from the films. It will also add a Commando Johnny reminiscent of Arnold Schwarzenegger's character Dutch, Infrared Scorpion, and a redesigned Jax to resemble actor Carl Weathers. Weathers also went to the studio to record his voice for this version of Jax.

The last confirmed DLC pack is "Klassic 2" which will add the classic costumes for Kung Lao, Quan Chi, and Jax.

According to a report from the Latino Post, series co-creator Ed Boon from NetherRealm Studios also hinted that a "Story Mode" DLC pack may be in the works. This rumored DLC will make NPC characters like Rain and Smoke playable.

No official release dates for these DLC packs have been announced but according to a report from IGN, the first "Klassic" DLC pack is expected to hit the Xbox One very soon. The DLC will then be released for PC shortly afterwards.
