The Microsoft Store offers discounts on Windows-based notebooks and PCs as much as $800 as a treat this holiday season.
Microsoft offers the Dell XPS 15 15-8947sLV Signature Edition Laptop for $800 less, bringing the price down to $1,499. The laptop boasts a 15.6-inch Quad HD+ touchscreen, Intel Core i7-4702HQ, 16GB memory/ 512GB SSD, and up to 11 hours battery life.
It also offers the HP Pavilion x2 notebook for $199, which is $130 off its original price, as part of the store's 12 Days of Deals promo. Microsoft also throws in a year's subscription for Office 365 Personal. The HP Pavilion x2 notebook has a 10.1-inch screen display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and touchscreen feature making it a 2-in-1 device. It doubles as a tablet since it has a detachable keyboard. Under the hood, it packs a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z3745D chipset with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The device is thin and portable as it has a fanless design. It is supported by a battery that runs for 11 hours.
Microsoft's 12 Days of Deals started on Dec. 9 and will conclude this weekend, Dec. 20. It brings a wide variety of tech deals, including deals for Xbox gaming consoles and Windows Phones.
