"Longmire" season 5 is still in production, and as stated in a report from Cartermatt, the series might finally touch upon the romantic relationship between Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and his partner, Vic (Katee Sackhoff), adapting the relationship from the original books.

Speculation has seen a resurgence following a sneak peek at season 5 posted by Sackhoff via Instagram. The image showcases the two characters together, and while it is likely an atmospheric photo meant solely for promotion, it is possibly a snapshot of an event coming up in the next season.

However, before the two can get together Walt will need to deal with his current affair with Donna Monaghan (Ally Walker). The two were having an intimate moment during the season 4 finale when an intruder suddenly broke into the house. It is unlikely that Walt get harmed by the attack but the encounter is speculated to cause some trouble for the rest of the season.

Vine Report reveals that this intruder might force a wedge between Donna and Walt, enabling Walt to start a relationship with Vic. It is also pointed out by Cartermatt that Vic and Walt had slightly separated in season 4 and this is possibly due to Walt not reciprocating the affection that Vic is trying to offer him.

It has been previously reported that there are even rumors of Donna being the mastermind behind the attack in the season 4 finale. While this has yet to be proven it might be the reason why the two will go their separate ways, giving room for Walt and Vic to get romantically involved.

Sackhoff also reveals that the image she posted was taken by famed photographer Dennys Ilic. In the caption for the photo Sackhoff also confirms that "Longmire" season 5 will be premiering on Netflix on coming Sept. 23. Netflix has yet to announce if the series will push further beyond season 5.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
