Earlier this month, "Longmire" gave fans a first look at season 4 with some official photos showing Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and the rest of the cast of the drama. Now, Netflix has released the show's first trailer for the new season, and it looks like Walt is out for revenge for the death of his wife.

The trailer starts with an emotional Vic (Katee Sackoff) saying, "I will lie for you. I'll say whatever you want me to say. I just want you to tell me what is going on."

Walt is seen jumping in a river and looking devastated. Another scene shows the sheriff walking while holding a gun, and he is also seen entering a casino in search of someone.

Walt later tells Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips), "You wanna step away from this, understand?"

Henry replies, "I've never been one to back down from a fight."

Henry and Walt are also seen scuffling over a gun, and Henry tells the Sheriff, "If you fire that gun now, you will kill everything that you have ever stood for."

"Me either," Walt said.

Later in the video, a tearful Henry and a crying Vic are seen, and in a voiceover, Walt says, "Sometimes a man gets a second chance. But it's not that you come back — it's how you come back that matters."

This line echoes what executive producer Greer Shephard said last July that the new season will be all about second chances.

Speaking at the "Longmire" panel at the TCA, Greer said, "Who you are as a person is defined by how you handle the second chance ... Now that Walt knows the murderer of his wife, how does he go on?"

Season 4 will start with Walt having found out who was behind the murder of his wife and setting off to avenge her death. Meanwhile, Branch Connally (Bailey Chase), the deputy who Walt fired for his behavior, believes that he already knows who the real killer is.

Season 4 of "Longmire" premieres on Sept. 10 on Netflix.
