Chinese mobile manufacturer Lenovo is set to release its ThinkStation P Series in the fall, packed with the upcoming Intel's Xeon E5 v3 processors.

The line up is consisted of the ThinkStation P900, P700 and P500, which will join the entry-level ThinkStation P300 that was announced earlier this year. The CPUs are designed for optimum performance. The computers are also reliable and usable and packed with amazing and top-of-the-line features. The desktops are also available in traditional tower format chassis designs.

Lenovo's new ThinkStation P Series will go up against Dell's desktops but it packs Intel's Haswell Xeon E5-2600 v3 and E5-1600 v3 processors, which are set to arrive soon.

The high end ThinkStation P900 and ThinkStation P700 packs two-socket design that can be upgraded up to 16 memory modules. ThinkStation P500, on the other hand, includes a single-socket design that can accommodate up to 8 memory modules.

Aside from new Intel processors, the desktops also feature the latest Nvidia Quadro graphics chipset. The ThinkStation P900 can pack up to three Quadro K6000 adapters. This particular graphics processor offers high resolution images.

"After a period of intensive research, development and testing, we're excited to introduce our next generation workstations to the market, as we truly believe this is the best designed workstation ever," said Lenovo vice president and general manager for workstations Victor Rios, according to the Lenovo's press release.

"We built on the advancements delivered in our 30 Series workstations and engineered the P Series with new levels of innovation based on extensive customer feedback. The result for users is optimum performance, outstanding reliability and unparalleled usability that are unlike anything they have experienced," he added.

The new line up of Lenovo's CPUs are claimed to be perfect in running high end applications and have been certified by vendors of professional software for CAD. Meanwhile, the prices for the desktops have not been released.
