'Left4Dead 3' rumors: Leaked info from ex-Valve game tester?

For a long time now, gamers and fans of the zombie genre have been waiting for "Left4Dead 3." There have been many speculations about the title and even alleged leaks.

This week, a Reddit user who claims to have worked at game company Valve left a lot of information about the game. The alleged ex-Valve game tester provided insider details about the title, including the names of four new characters. They are: Irvin, a gangster; Katherine, a former stewardess; Keenan, a comic-book nerd; and Garret Jr., the buffed-up guy on the team.

The game will also apparently let the players stack more items through a backpack system, but there's a catch: the more a player carries, the slower they get, making them the weak link, or at least, the support of the group.

The leakster also listed six campaigns, namely: Crash-land; Impasse; Inquisitor Land; Early Destination; Cliff-Hanger; and No Mercy, some of them reminiscent of previous campaigns like No Mercy and Carnival.

Back in January last year, an image was posted in Neogaf showing what is potentially an "L4D" map — the Plantation mansion from "Left4Dead" 2. The photo was labeled with the title "l4d3? (Source 2 Reveal)," which suggests that the stage is being redesigned for "L4D 3." The "Source 2" could be pertaining to the Source 2.0 Engine that was revealed by Valve co-found Gabe Newell back in 2012

These are all unconfirmed, however, and should be taken with a grain of salt.
