Fans have been waiting for the release of "Kingdom Hearts 3" for quite some time now. Although there were some hints and previews dropped around from time to time, the release date of the upcoming action role-playing game is still uncertain.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" has already been released with some footages in the past to give a hint about the upcoming game. A NeoGAF user named crash-14 has compiled all these clips since the game was announced four years ago and found that "Kingdom Hearts 3" has a total footage of about eight minutes.

Although this is better than not having anything at all, Gamingbolt believes that this is not an encouraging sign and may imply that the release date may still be far away. The gaming portal believes that having less than 10 minutes of teasers in total is not a lot. It cited the case of "Final Fantasy XV," in which Square Enix had released several footages, sometimes on a daily basis, prior to its launch. This may mean that the release date of "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still a few years away.

While waiting for the release of the game, fans continue to voice out their requests for new characters to be featured in "Kingdom Hearts 3." In a recent survey conducted by Japanese magazine Famitsu, a lot of fans are requesting for Noctis from "Final Fantasy XV" to appear in the game.

In a translated interview with game director Tetsuya Nomura in KH Insider, Nomura admitted that he is a little worried about these.

He explained, "In the current state of the main story, it would be difficult to incorporate these characters." He assured, however, that he will "consider the voices of these fans very carefully and do my very best to meet the expectations of all other fans."
