"Kingdom Hearts 3" is in for a 2015 rollout, and the internet is teeming with rumors on what the highly-anticipated installment will offer.

Tetsuya Nomura, Japanese video game designer and former director of "Final Fantasy XV," is busy with completing the list of characters for the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3."  Rumor has it that Nomura has plans on getting a few Marvel and Star Wars characters on board as well as removing other characters fans expect to be present in the new game.

The idea of the incoporation of the characters from other universes was entertained by Nomura.  However, Breathecast reveals that the game designer's character plans rely heavily on the rules and restrictions by Disney. The site also reports that Nomura is not planning on doing it on a small-scale, and says that the "battle will surely last longer."

However, an article from GMA Network has confirmed the return of Sora, along with all-time favorite Disney icons King Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Riku.

The existense of "Kingdom Hearts 3" was first announced by Square Enix during the ER 2013. Fans were thrilled, and have been waiting for the game since then. With a trailer released following the announcement, fans were hoping to see some of "Kingdom Hearts" elements unchanged. The hope was immediately dispelled with rumors containing details that the development team had opted for Epic Games's Unreal Engine 4. Gamerant remarked that the Luminous Engine caused numerous errors, prompting Nomura and the developers to go for Epic Games.

Nomura talked about the turnaround in an interview with Famitsu, as cited by GMA Network.

"Development is steadily proceeding as planned. Due to the impact of changing the game engine to Unreal Engine 4, which we did for various reasons, there is some difficulty rendering images. And with the full support of Epic Games, we'll be able to progress smoothly," Nomura tells Famitsu.

Unreal Engine possesses and, in turn, creates unique design. This is simply an indication that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will do away with its previous look, while giving the game the benefits of a major face lift.

The release of "Kingdom Hearts 3" is yet to be announced, but 2015 is expected to be its big year.
