In full Christmas spirit, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and her family made a group of young schoolchildren happy for the upcoming holidays by sending them a special Yuletide message.

The Duchess, together with her husband Prince William and their two adorable kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte, sent a personalized card to the children of Forest School after the royal family received a handmade card from them.

The kids, aged 4 to 5 from two reception year classes called Squirrels and Rabbits, learned about the royal family's efforts during the yearly visit of Santa Clause to their school.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also released their annual official Christmas card picture to the public on Friday, Dec. 18.

Prince William and Kate enclosed a special message, saying that the rest of their growing family "are hugely appreciative of all the warm messages [they] have received about [their] family this year and are very much looking forward to [their] first Christmas as a family of four."

The photo shows the royal couple and their charming kids smiling sweetly at the camera, complete with the two-year-old Prince George's signature bright grin and the seven-month-old Princess Charlotte's delightful smile. The photo was taken by a former soldier named Chris Jelf.

Meanwhile, the Duchess once again made the news because of her current look after debuting her new hairstyle.

Kate reportedly told her friends that she is not too happy with her latest hair cut done by celebrity hair stylist Richard Ward.

According to a report from The Sun, Kate told her friends that she was a little unsure about her new hairstyle with bangs, which she described as her "mum fringe."

This could possibly be due to her resemblance to her 60-year-old mother Carole Middleton.
