"Jurassic World" will not be released until June this year, but the sequel to the film is allegedly being developed already.

In an interview with film director Colin Trevorrow for Empire magazine last November, he said that Universal Studios is planning to make a series of follow-ups to the "Jurassic Park" installment.

"We definitely talked about [Jurassic World sequels] a lot," Trevorrow said during the interview with Empire, "We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story."

An article posted on the official "Jurassic World" blog site claims that the sequel will definitely push through. It stated that the early production of the next installment of the "Jurassic World" series has already begun, since the upcoming film is already in its finishing stages.

The site also mentioned that the "Jurassic World" trilogy has always been part of the plan from the start, although there is no news if Trevorrow will still be leading the next films under the franchise.

Meanwhile, the trailer for the new "Jurassic World" film is already showing more details that would excite fans of the upcoming sci-fi flick. It shows how Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) helps fight the dangerous creatures who are roaming around in the Isla Nubla theme park.

Christian Post listed down some of the dinosaurs that will be featured in the film, including Ankylosaurus, Apatosaurus, Baryonyx, Dimorphodon, Edmontosaurus, Gallimimus, Indominus Rex, Metriacanthosaurus, Microceratus, Mosasaurus, Pteranodon, Stegosaurus, Suchomimus, Triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus Rex.

"Jurassic World" is set 22 years after the events that happened in "Jurassic Park." John Hammond's (Richard Attenborough) original concept of an island theme park with real dinosaurs has finally come to life. But new danger arrives when the park's scientists, under orders from the new management, come up with a new species to attract more guests to the island.

"Jurassic World" is slated to premiere on June 12.
