Since 24-year-old "19 Kids and Counting" stars and twins Jana and John David are the oldest among the Duggar kids, many fans bet that either one of them will be fitting to say "I do" next.
John David has all his attention on the Duggar Towing, buying him no time for courting. But according to People, John David is "open to advice" when it comes to love and marriage.
"Everybody is giving me advice about getting married," John David remarked. "It isn't a bad thing."
For a laugh, John even announced during rehearsal in Jill's wedding that he is accepting applications for a future wife. However, it turns out that fans who are smitten with the guy are gravely serious about this grand offer.
"It was a joke," John David said via People. "But I hear that we started receiving applications like crazy. I don't know how many have come in and I haven't looked at any, but I hear there are a lot."
Who knows, maybe one of those applications in the pile of submissions may be lucky enough to score a future wedding deal.
On the other hand, Jana may be the perfect Duggar individual to walk down the aisle in the near future. Many have been enamored by her beauty and many more have attempted to capture her love and attention, but all of them were obviously unsuccessful.
"Jana is one of the prettiest girls in the world and one of the sweetest girls. There have been a lot of guys who have been interested in her, I have gone to hear about each one, and so far she hasn't felt that is the way the Lord is leading," said her father, Jim Bob, via People.
"We've always gotten different ones asking, 'When is it going to be your turn? When is it your time?'" Jana said. "I just think for me I am just waiting and we'll see. When God brings that one along it will be his timing."
Jana has been busy taking on parental duties, assisting her younger siblings in home school and generally keeping their home in tiptop condition. She has even participated in one of her sister's wedding by sewing the bride's maid's and flower girls' dresses for the wedding. The Hollywood Gossip has reported on how fans want Jana to break free from all this. On the other hand, Bustle mentioned that Jana has plans to settle soon and even make a big family of her own someday. But as of now, she is switching to a religious vocation from her midwifery endeavor.
