Some of the features of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have fallen below the expectations of some users, which has prompted the rise of new iPhone 7 rumors.

People are already speculating about the iPhone 7 features. Below are the top five features that consumers believe should be included in the next generation of Apple smartphones.

Sapphire display

It has been long rumored that Apple will include a sturdy Sapphire screen display in its smartphone, which is claimed to be stronger than Gorilla Glass. The material will appear in some models of the upcoming Apple Watch, as the company claims that the new wearable is more susceptible to pressure, thus, justifying the need for a stronger screen display. However, with the controversial #Bendgate issue that claims that the iPhone 6 is pretty malleable, some are calling for a stronger screen panel that can withstand the pressure. The brittle screen is a turn-off for some consumers.

Wireless charging

With power-hogging features packed in the smartphone every year, an upgrade on the battery is also expected. One of these is wireless charging wherein users can move around with their handsets without thinking about cords and connectors.

Replaceable battery

There are rare cases when the battery of an iPhone blows out and, when it does, concumers would like to have the option of replacing just the battery rather than the entire unit.  This is because the battery is currently integrated in the device, unlike the devices from its competitors like Samsung and Sony. Thus, it would be beneficial if the future iPhone would pack replaceable batteries.

MicroSD slot

Apple abolished the 32 GB storage option for its smartphones, leaving consumers with either 16 GB, which could be too small for some users, or the 64 GB, which could be too big. iPhone's competitors boast large storage with the aid of a microSD slot, which makes the storage system flexible for the convenience of users.

Better front camera

As this is currently the age of selfies, consumers demand better front cameras. iPhone still packs the mediocre 2.1 MP front-facing shooter, while some manufacturers such as Nokia includes snappers as high as 5MP.
