The iPad Pro release date is reportedly set in 2015, and the device is said to pack an A8X processor.

G for Games cited Taiwan media source TechNews that the tablet will feature an improved A8X processor, which is similar to Apple's previous A5X and A6X processors. The report added that A8X will be a graphics-enhanced version of Apple's current A8 processor that debuted in iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Apple once added "X" version to its current operating system. The speculated "X' version of the new iOS is said to power the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 as well as the iPad Pro. The iPad Pro comes with higher-resolution and graphics that it will need a more powerful processor supplemented by a graphics chipset.

The report also claimed that the upcoming iPad Air 2 will come with 2 GB of RAM to be paired with the processor. The second generation of the iPad Air tablet will be introduced next month to be stacked in the shelves just in time for the holidays.

According to the grapevine, the iPad Pro will come in two variants with two different screen resolutions – 2K and 4K display. Also, there were talks that the tablet's bezels may be hypersensitive as the tablet was rumored to pack pressure sensors to replace the physical home button in previous iPads.

Other rumored features of the tablet are: 2 GB or 3 GB RAM, a 64-bit or octa core processor, Touch ID fingerprint sensor, improved Siri, and better camera and battery. However, the Cupertino-based company has not responded to the rumors going around about its devices. The company also has not revealed any official specs and features of the alleged iPad Pro.

The iPad Pro release date is reportedly to happen in in early 2015, most probably in March which is the original release date of iPad tablets. However, Apple has not confirmed the existence of iPad Pro and its release date.
