iOS 9 jailbreak from Youtuber will never be released to public

As previously reported, Youtube user iH8sn0w has successfully been able to jailbreak through the recently released iOS 9. However, according to a report from Neurogadget, iH8sn0w will not be releasing his jailbreak method and required tools to the general public.

The report cites that the video posted on Youtube is proof that iOS 9 can be jailbroken. However, at this point users will have to wait for either TaiG or the PanGu team to jailbreak the new OS and then release the method and tools out as iiH8sn0w will not.

According to a report from iDigital Times, there are now options for iOS 8.4.1 to be jailbroken, which means those who cannot wait for an iOS 9 jailbreak should downgrade back down to iOS 8.4.1 and avail of the latest jailbreak method in order to load up custom apps and others.

The report cites jailbreak developer Luca Todesco explained that the bugs that allowed iOS 8.4.1 to be jailbroken have been eliminated entirely in iOS 9, which means Todesco and other developers will need to find a different method if they aim to properly jailbreak iOS 9.

Todesco even explained that PanGu has been pitching in to help and that it is possible that a proper iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak will be released soon.

"PanGu is helping me with the actual kernel exploit," Todesco explained. "But right now I'm working on everything else."

As for TaiG and PanGu, there are no confirmations at this point that they are indeed working to jailbreak iOS 9.1, although the OS has been sent out to numerous testers. It is entirely possible that PanGu might not be working on the official iOS 9 jailbreak at this point as they are working on the jailbreak needed for iOS 8.4.1.

The IBTimes has also reported that the Zerodium team has jokingly released an ad that would reward anyone $1 million for successfullyjailbreaking iOS 9 untethered/browser-based, indicating how difficult the task really is.
