The Huawei Watch 2 is now on sale in United States Huawei

The second generation of Huawei Watch is now being sold in the United States.

Huawei Watch 2 is now available for purchase in different retailers such Amazon, BestBuy, NewEgg, and Walmart. The second iteration of the smartwatch is slightly bigger than its predecessor, but it comes with a new fitness tracker feature. With this, the new wearable has a global positioning system (GPS) that can track the user's runs or movements, as well as other workouts.

In terms of cost, the standard Huawei Watch 2 is sold at $299.99. Interested buyers may choose between gray and black for the color. On the other hand, a Classic design is expected to be sold soon at $369.99, but the company has yet to confirm the color options available for this.

For those who purchase the standard Huawei Watch 2, they also get a 10-week free subscription from Google Play music, which is bundled to the smartwatch for a limited period of time. This is useful for those who will use the device in their workouts, especially since Huawei Watch 2 can be connected in Bluetooth earphones.

In addition, users will also have the option to download the songs instead of streaming it, as the wearable has an on-board storage of 4 GB. With this, they can listen to music while doing their physical activity, without worrying about wires or lags. At the moment, it is still uncertain whether the same promotion will be offered for the Huawei Watch 2 Classic version.

Meanwhile, Tom's Guide made a review about the new Huawei smartwatch and states that it is a wearable that buyers do not need. Even though Huawei Watch 2 has the basic activity tracking, it does not offer other features that is not already in other smartwatches.

For the good side, the review believes that its small charger, good battery life, and the always-on display feature are the device's best attributes. On the other hand, the review believes that the Huawei Watch 2 does not have an impressive design and good applications that will make it a good option for purchase.
