Pokémon fans have been waiting with pins and needles for the release of the demo version of "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire."

According to the demo details published by Serebii.net, the demo version will be available on Oct. 15 at the Nintendo eShop. A unique code will be distributed to the players on various gaming events as well as in gaming magazines in different countries that should be entered on the Nintendo eShop to be able to download the demo. The code can only be used once and will be active for only a short time.

Gamers who will download the demo version will be able to transfer what earn in the demo to the main game version once the game is released.  This inclues items, Mega Evolution Pokémon, achievements, among others. Players need to use the Pokémon Link feature in the game to transfer the items.

Below are some of the ways one can get the download code for the demo version of the "gem" versions of the "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire."

Japan

The download code will be published in the November 2014 issue of the CoroCoro magazine, which will be available on Oct. 15. For those who will not be able to get codes from CoroCoro, new set of codes will be published in the December 2014 issue of Chao Magazine, which will hit newsstands on Nov. 1.

Russia

Russian players will get their hands on the download code from IgroMir 2014 from Oct. 1 to 5.

Netherlands / Portugal

In the Netherlands and Portugal, the code will be given out to players at the First Look & Autumn Tours and the IBERANIME OPO 2014 Festival, which will be held on Oct. 11 and Oct. 12.

Other Countries

Some countries will get the download code before Oct. 15, but it can only be used on the 15th to download the demo version.

Reports say that the demo version will add special offers and treats to players on a daily basis in order to encourage gamers to play the game, like attending a daily appointment. However, more details are set to be divulged to the public by the developer later as the release date approaches.
