"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 episode 3, titled "It's Called the Octopus," will continue the investigation regarding the Hapstall siblings while also introducing Annalise's new client, to be played by actress Sherri Saum, reports Fashion & Style.

According to the official synopsis, the Keating Five will investigate a high-end sex club after Annalise gets a new client. The promotional trailer showcases Annalise lecturing a class about the relationship between sex and criminal law, which she says are closely tied together. The promo trailer also states that the episode will focus on "crimes of passion."

"Do you want to go to jail for being a negligent slut?" Annalise asks her client in the promotional trailer, indicating that the crime may have something to do with a man murdered after spending an evening affair with Annalise's client.

As for the Hapstall siblings, episode 2 saw Caleb (Kendrick Sampson) and Catherine (Amy Okuda) being accused of murdering their mother and aunt, with DNA samples being used as evidence against them. However, the episode ended with the Keating Five being able to explain the DNA and buy more time, but more complications are coming in episode 3.

The synopsis reveals that a new motive for the murder will be revealed -- a motive that will be used in favor of the prosecution.

Wes (Alfred Enoch) will also be calling in for special help in episode 3. The synopsis states that he will find an "unexpected ally" in the episode, although there are no hints in the promotional trailer to point out who this new ally might turn out to be.

"It's Called the Octopus" may also reveal the events that truly unfolded in the Hapstalls' house, where the flash-forward sequences revealed Annalise getting shot as well as further delving into Annalise' case regarding the murder of her husband. The previous episode saw the prosecution implicate that Annalise murdered her husband while putting the blame on her boyfriend.

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 episode 3, "It's Called the Octopus," airs this Oct. 8.
