'Halo 5: Guardians': Developers urged to fix glitches for 'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' before new game launch

Microsoft and 343 Industries, the companies behind the "Halo" game franchise, may have some difficulty encouraging gamers to buy the upcoming installment "Halo 5: Guardians."  According to GameRanx, some players have decided to boycott the game until the developer fixes all of the glitches in the current "Halo: The Master Chief Collection."

"Halo: The Master Chief Collection" put together four "Halo" games in one package. The bundle was greatly anticipated, but its launch last November was marred with bugs and issues. A lot of players complained about these issues and game developer 343 Industries has been preoccupied with releasing a number of updates to fix the problems. The developer recently rolled out the latest content update that introduces new improvements and tweaks to the user interface of the game. Moreover, the update gives rise to multiplayer fixes and a more stable performance. The 1.19.15 content update resolves the ongoing matchmaking issues in the game that has been around in November. Sadly, some of the glitches still continue to haunt the game even after two months.

Due to the numerous bugs and issues, some players lost confidence on the game developer and on the future "Halo 5: Guardians." Some players threatened that they will not support the upcoming "Halo 5" unless 343 Industries delivers a solid update that would fix all of the game's issues.

Meanwhile, the beta version of "Halo 5: Guardians" ended on Jan. 18 and the reactions toward the beta are mixed. Some gamers praised the beta version for being polished, while other dislike the gameplay that seem to have strayed away from the original premise of "Halo," which made the game famous.

Some players are crying for another beta to ensure a smooth game experience, hence avoiding the same mess "The Master Chief Collection" is going through. However, the game developer previously announced that it will not roll out another beta of the game. Thus, it is unlikely that gamers will be able to play another trial version.
