"Halo 5: Guardians" is still fresh in its release but fans are now excited as the game is about to receive its second update.

As promised when it was first reported via Design & Trend, 343 Industries will release the update sometime this month,

The downloadable content (DLC), titled "Cartographer's Gift," will feature a new M41 SSR Rocket Launcher or a weapon that bears similar power. It was also mentioned that the Forge Mode will be returning to the game once DLC gets released.

As Design& Trend described, the Forge Mode lets player create their version of multiplayer maps.

The update will also offer new skins; players will also get to own the Mark IV helmet that they can use on their Spartan.

Aside from the Mark IV helmet, there will be other armor sets available, along with new Arena and Warzone maps, as stated in Halo Waypoint.

No official date of the DLC update has been announced, but according to the official website, it should arrive sometime next week. The full REQ reveal can be found at Halo Waypoint.

Aside from the upcoming DLC update, there's another exciting thing that "Halo" fans should enjoy. The "Halo 5: Guardians World Championship" is also happening this month, which should keep players interested in the game even more.

This online tournament started on Dec. 6, as reported by the Christian Post. The competition is considered the largest of the game franchise coming from 343 Industries since it offers the prize of $2 million, and according to the official Halo website, this prize continues to grow.

Various teams coming all the way from the United Kingdom, Australia, Asia, Europe, Middle East, New Zealand, Africa, and, of course, North America can enter the competition and play against each other. The event will conclude by March of next year.

Anyone interested to join the competition should register through the official Halo website.
