'GTA Online' heists: double GTA cash, RP for grand finale - bonus rewards Aug. 3-9

Double GTA$ and RP for the GTA Online heist: The Pacific Standard Job Rockstar Games

Rockstar Games is going out with a bang in terms of their "Grand Theft Auto Online" heist events as their grand finale, The Pacific Standard Job, is offering double payout and double reputation points. Gamers can log into "GTA Online" and participate in the heist and gain its bonus rewards from Aug. 3 to 9.

The double bonuses will also extend to the game's Elite Challenges, meaning the rewards for finishing the heist in under 10 minutes and 15 seconds, avoiding killing any hostages, and finishing the heist without a single crew member killed will also guarantee double the cash and RP.

Finishing the heist is no easy feat. Players who have attempted before will recall that the setup alone involves stealing vehicles from a violent biker gang, breaking out a criminal from an isolated and well-guarded prison facility, and wreck a fully-equipped military convoy. That's just the beginning phase of the whole heist.

Of course, this high level of difficulty requires online "Grand Theft Auto V" players to pick the best teammates they can in order to pull off this heist and the rewards for doing a good job on such a difficult mission make it all the more satisfying.

Gamers aren't limited to the final heist to gain double the rewards as they will also be able to earn double reputation points during the following events, as listed by Rockstar, while the promo is still ongoing:

  • Deathmatch: Finish in Top 3, Run Over and Kill an Enemy Using a Vehicle
  • Missions: Not Losing Any Lives Bonus
  • Races: Clean Lap, Fastest Lap, First for Whole Lap, Get Into 1st Place, Overtake Player 5 Times, Overtake Player 10 Times, Slipstream for 5 Seconds
  • Simeon Car Export Requests
  • Stunt Jumps
  • Survival: Enemy Kill, Vehicle Destroyed

The official news post from Rockstar also alerts gamers to check this week for new daily discounts.
